A dynamic, cosmopolitan world capital, London offers incomparable access to museums, galleries, West End theatres, architectural jewels, and historic landmarks. Concordia undergraduates can delve into this rich cultural heritage during either the fall or spring semester since the university is now a participant in the humanities program at the London Centre. |
|
Most courses at the Centre, located within walking distance of numerous museums, are taught by British faculty who are practitioners, as well as teachers in the disciplines of literature, theatre, history, art, and political science. Affiliated with AHA International, the London Centre offers an extraordinary itinerary of excursions and theatrical performances designed to enhance the in-class experience. Included in the program are guided excursions to such major sites of British culture and history as Stonehenge, Oxford, Canterbury, Stratford-on-Avon, and Scotland or Wales.
