Successful completion of the Family Life program requirements prepares students for the following careers:

• LCMS rostered position in the church as a DFLM. (Director of Family Life Ministry)

• LCMS rostered position in the Church as a DFLM – in Youth Ministry -- requires concentration in youth ministry.

• An entry level position in the human services field, i.e., adolescent care facilities, hospice, adoption agencies, drug/alcohol rehab centers, etc.

• A Child Life Specialist works in a hospital.

• Completing the requirement of the Family Life Education program prepares students for entrance into a master’s program in psychology, sociology, and or counseling.
