Admission Requirements:
- Complete application online or download and print a copy
- Mail in $100 application fee ($25 for Canadian residents)
- Documentation of English Language Skills (TOEFL Test) - not applicable if English is 1st language. The TOEFL Test is not required for students who have taken high school or college courses within the U.S. or another English speaking country.
- 520 score on paper-based TOEFL Test or
- 190 score on computer-based TOEFL Test
- 68 score on the internet-based TOEFL Test
- Official report of academic credentials
- Minimum of 2.5 GPA required
- Must submit signed and/or stamped original transcripts and certified English translations from all schools attended.
- Transfer students: WES transcript evaluation suggested www.wes.org
- Complete Certificate of Financial Responsibility
- Official documentation of available funds
- Official bank statement or brokerage statement
Immigration Requirements:
(For I-20 or Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Application; done by Registrar’s Office)
- Copy of passport, required
- Driver’s License, if available
- Home Country’s personal identification number, if available (for example, U.S. Social Security number

Before entry into the United States and after the application has been processed, the student must also pay a $100 SEVIS application fee (I-901 SEVIS fee). Must have I-20 form to process this fee.
Financial Aid Process for Green Card Holders as Traditional Students:
- Complete the FAFSA: Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form as soon as possible after January 1 of the year you plan to attend. This form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. On the FAFSA, be sure to request that your eligibility information be sent to Concordia University using code 002247.
- Complete the Concordia Application for Financial Aid: This form is should be filled out to be considered for Concordia University financial aid. When this form and the FAFSA are received by the Office of Financial Aid, all accepted students are eligible for a financial aid award.
