Interests: I like sports. I’m also interested in movies and smiling. Smiling is my favorite. You can quote me on that. I’m also very involved in the music aspects of Concordia. I enjoy Yankees baseball, which is altogether serious, along with food and traveling.
Activities: I’m on the Concordia varsity soccer team. I play the euphonium in the wind ensemble and low brass ensemble, and sometimes the jazz ensemble. I’m one of the members of the newly-founded Missions Club. I’m also involved in New Crew here at Concordia and Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ (OAFC).
Why do you love Concordia? First of all, I chose Concordia because the moment I stepped on campus I felt like I was a part of an all-around education. It’s not only somewhere I can come and take really exciting classes with qualified professors, but the spiritual life is amazing. I’m feeling my faith grow while I’m on campus. I can be really active in all aspects of my life here, especially socially. It’s a big family of brothers and sisters in Christ. My favorite part about Concordia is the atmosphere, in a combination with the spiritual life, the people, and the close-knit community.
How has the Presidential Scholarship benefited you? It helped me to not only be able to choose Concordia, which was my number one school, but also made it possible for me to pursue an education without worrying as much about finances.
