We invite you to host a Concordia Sunday year around!
Each year, the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod designates one Sunday in April as Concordia Sunday; however, here at Concordia University–Ann Arbor (CUAA), we celebrate Concordia Sunday throughout the year!
We would like to invite your congregation to host a Concordia Sunday, demonstrating your support of CUAA. As a host, your congregation would offer an opportunity for your young adults to learn about our mission and encourage them to consider becoming a student at Concordia University–Ann Arbor.
If your congregation would like to host a Concordia Sunday, please contact the office of Development at: 734.995.7327 or email development@cuaa.edu to schedule.
The following is an example of a Concordia Sunday agenda:
- Rev. Dr. Thomas Ahlersmeyer, President may preach during the service.
- Concordia University–Ann Arbor will provide bulletin inserts for the day, which would allow an individual to make a gift of support.
- Following the worship service(s), a coffee hour with cookies could be served. A display with admission materials will be made available and a Development and/or Admission Counselor will be present for answering questions.
