Presidential

Full Tuition

Recipient must be a 2012 High School Graduate and have a HS GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and an ACT composite score of 24 or higher.  Must compete at the Merit Scholarship Day on February 4, 2012.  This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

Distinguished

$10,000

Recipient must have a HS GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale and an ACT composite score of 26 or higher. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Regents

$7,500

Recipient must have a HS GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and an ACT composite score 24 or higher. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Honors

$5,000

Recipient must have a HS GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and an ACT composite score of 22 or higher. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Transfer Distinguished

$7,000

Recipient must have a transfer GPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale. 

This scholarship is renewable provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Transfer Regents

$5,000

Recipient must have a transfer GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. 

This scholarship is renewable provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Transfer Honors

$3,000

Recipient must have a transfer GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 

This scholarship is renewable provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Cardinal Award

$2,000

Awarded to students not already receiving an Academic Scholarship. First-time Freshmen recipients must have a HS GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and an ACT composite score of 18 or higher. Transfer recipients must have a transfer GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Concordia Grant

Up to $8,000

Amount awarded is based on academic and leadership achievements, as well as financial need. Must file Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Church Work Award

$1,000

Awards offered to Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod students pursuing careers in the LCMS. An application form and pastoral recommendation is required each year. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Lutheran High School Graduate Award

$1,000

Awards offered as special recognition to incoming students graduating from a Lutheran High School. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Alumni Award

$500

Awarded to dependents of Concordia University-Ann Arbor alumni. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Sibling Award

$500/sibling

Awarded to siblings who are registered as full-time undergraduates during the same academic year. These scholarships are renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0 and as long as both siblings are enrolled full-time.

Church-College Alliance Award

Up to $500

Awards are given as matching grants based on amounts given to a student by his/her home congregation of any denomination. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

District Aid for Professional Church Workers

Determined by home congregation LCMS district

Each District of the LCMS has different rules and regulations for supporting professional church workers. Contact your home church district for more information. An application form is required.

Athletic

Scholarships

Variable Amounts

This Award is for qualified athletes. Award amount is based on the recommendation of the coach. This scholarship may be renewable for up to four years based on athletic performance evaluation by the coach and provided student maintains a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Music Scholarship

Variable Amounts

Students with training in either vocal or instrumental music may apply for a music scholarship. Contact music@cuaa.edu to schedule an audition. This scholarship may be renewable for up to four years provided students maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Art Scholarship
