CONCORDIA PRESENTS, ALL RIVERS AT ONCE
ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 17, 2006- All Rivers At Once, a unique and modern ensemble, will be performing at Concordia’s Chapel of the Holy Trinity on Sunday, March 26 at 4 p.m. The group, formed in 2002 by influential musicians, Joshua Penman and Marcin Bela, is dedicated to performing spiritual music by contemporary composers. All Rivers At Once is made up of talented musicians and composers who are currently enjoying both national and international careers.
The music of All Rivers At Once is both introspective and tantalizingly varied, boasting a vast repertoire possessing an expansive stylistic range of geographical regions and time periods. Lyrics may vary from Polish medieval sacred poetry to the wall writing of Soviet political prisoners, while the music may be anything from Irish fiddling to chanting or modern Jazz and Pop, all amalgamated in compositions of epic scope and classical structure. Tickets are .00 for visitors and free for Concordia students with their ID.
