DONALD WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CONCERT
ANN ARBOR, Mich., September 20, 2006- Friends, students and colleagues of long-time Concordia University–Ann Arbor (CUAA) organist and professor, Dr. Donald Williams, present an evening of organ and choral music in honor of his memory and celebration of his life, Sunday, September 24 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity.
The program will feature organ performances by Williams’ teacher, Dr. Marilyn Mason as well as former colleagues and students and includes a performance of Fauré’s “Requiem” by the Concordia Choir and friends. Proceeds from ticket sales and gifts will benefit the Donald Williams Endowed Organ Scholarship for organ students at CUAA.
