CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY–ANN ARBOR’S CHAMPIONSHIP REIGN CONTINUES
ANN ARBOR, Mich., January 31, 2007- The Concordia University–Ann Arbor (CUAA) Cardinal men’s basketball team defeated the Concordia—Nebraska Bulldogs, 64-58, to win the 56th Annual Concordia Invitational Tournament (CIT) for the second straight year.
Forward Troy Weisshaar (Sr. - Indianapolis, Ind.) had a game-high 26 points, with five rebounds and three blocks. Weisshaar averaged 24 points in the tournament and was named the Most Valuable Player.
Guard Nate Ashcraft (Sr. - Harrison, Mich.) last season's MVP, was named to the All-Tournament team for his efforts.
