WHAC HONORS BEN LIMBACK WITH COACH OF THE YEAR
ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 27, 2007—Ben Limback, Concordia University’s (CUAA) Head Men’s Basketball Coach was named Coach of the Year by Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference coaches for leading the Concordia Cardinals to their first winning season in 26 years and for finishing in third place within the conference, a first time achievement for the team.
“It’s always an honor to be recognized by your peers and I’m very humbled to have been named coach of the year,” stated Limback, who joined CUAA’s Athletic Department in 2003. “Even though this award has my name on it, it took the effort of a lot of people to achieve what this program has. From the hard work of the current and past team members to the support of the school administration, assistant coaches, fans, and students, they have all had a hand in making this program a success.”
