CONCORDIA OFFERS SCHOLARSHIP TO WORLD JOURNALISM INSTITUTE
ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 5, 2007—Concordia University’s Communication Department is encouraging students to apply for a 00 scholarship to the World Journalism Institute (WJI) that will fund a summer course taught by professional Christian journalists, tuition for three academic credits in journalism, accommodations, and round-trip airfare.
Students may choose between taking a three-week course in New York City, May 13 to June 1, 2007 or Washington D.C., July 22 to August 10, 2007. In order to qualify for the WJI scholarship students must have already completed Introduction to Journalism (COM 321), must be accepted for either course by WJI, and submit their application materials in a timely manner.
