| Concordia University Receives Matching Funds from Lutheran Brotherhood |

Ann Arbor, MI - Concordia University recently received over ,000 in funds from Lutheran Brotherhood, a fraternal benefit society, through the Member Matching Gift program. This amount matches 119 gifts from Lutheran Brotherhood members made during the fourth quarter of 2001.
Lutheran Brotherhood matches dollar-for-dollar gifts of -0 made by eligible Lutheran Brotherhood members to Lutheran Schools and outdoor ministries enrolled in the Member Matching Gift program. The schools and outdoor ministries use the matching funds for a variety of purposes, including projects that benefit the people at the institution, as well as endowments for the institution.
"Concordia University is grateful for the continued support of the Lutheran Brotherhood in providing matching funds," said Dr. James Koerschen, President of Concordia University. "The gifts of our devoted friends and support from organizations such as Lutheran Brotherhood make it possible for Concordia to fund student programs and services that preserve our exceptional, Christ-centered learning environment."
Concordia University will use the matching funds to support a broad range of university needs, from student scholarships and financial aid, to purchasing equipment and technology for the school. Since the beginning of the Member Matching Gift program in 1979, Concordia University has received nearly 0,000 in matching gifts. Lutheran Brotherhood has allocated more than million on behalf of the participating schools and outdoor ministries since the program began.

"Our Member Matching Gift program enables members to have their funds matched to the schools and ministries they support."
