| Concordia University-Ann Arbor Wind Ensemble to Present Concert |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ann Arbor, MI/January 14, 2005 β The Concordia University βAnn Arbor Wind Ensemble will perform a concert under the direction of Professor Andrew J. Schultz on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 7:30pm in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity.
Included in the performance are the following selections:
First Suite in E flat by Gustav Holst (1874-1934)
Molly on the Shore by Percy Grainger (1882-1961)
As Summer Was Just Beginning by Larry Daehn (b.1939)
The Light Eternal by James Swearingen
Shenandoah by Frank Ticheli (b.1958)
Symphonie for Band by Louis E. Jadin (1768-1853)
Andrew J. Schultz, Assistant Professor of Music, has been the Director of Instrumental Studies at Concordia University since the fall of 1994. Schultz received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska, and his Master of Music in Wind Conducting from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri. He has studied conducting with Gary Hill and Charles Krutz, and trumpet with Keith Benjamin, Dennis Schneider, and Charles Krutz. Prior to working at Concordia Schultz taught band and art at Kansas City Lutheran High School in Kansas City, MS and elementary band at Holy Cross Lutheran School in Kansas City, MS.
The Wind Ensemble concert is open to the public free of charge. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is located on the campus of Concordia University at 4090 Geddes Road in Ann Arbor, MI. For more information contact Andrew Schultz at 734.995.4627.
