| Concordia University Department of Music to Present Bach Concert |

ANN ARBOR, Mich./Jan. 4, 2005 – The Concordia University–Ann Arbor Department of Music will present a Bach Concert on Feb.13, 2005 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity. The program will include Bach’s “Mass in A Major” and “Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.”
The Concordia Choir under the direction of Brian Altevogt will perform the “Mass in A Major” with choirs from St. John Lutheran Church (Fraser, Mich.), St. Paul Lutheran Church (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Lutheran High Westland, and the Detroit Lutheran Singers. Soloists include Concordia voice faculty members Emery Stevens, Karl Schmidt, Rachel Edie Warrick, and Lorna Hildebrandt.
The “Brandenburg Concerto No. 5” will feature music faculty members Dr. Carolyn Lipp, harpsichord and Holly Clemens, flute.
The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is located on Concordia’s campus at 4090 Geddes Rd. just west of US-23 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The concert is free and open to the public but tickets are required (SOLD OUT AT THIS TIME).
