FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ANN ARBOR, Mich./Jan. 5, 2005 – Concordia University-Ann Arbor Theatre will continue its 2004-2005 season with Ken Ludwig’s Tony Award-nominated “Moon Over Buffalo,” running Feb. 17-20, 2005.
This hilarious farce takes place backstage and onstage at the Erlanger Theatre in Buffalo, N.Y. It’s 1953 and George and Charlotte Hay are the fading stars and owners of a financially troubled touring company performing “Private Lives” and “Cyrano de Bergerac” (with a cast of five) in repertory. Their daughter, Rosalind, wants nothing more to do with the vagabond theatrical life. But, when a marital spat between her parents coincides with an opportunity for them to make it big in Hollywood, confusion and mayhem take the stage with side-splitting results. Contains mild adult humor. May be inappropriate for young audiences.
“Moon Over Buffalo is directed and designed by Laura C. Bird and runs Thursday, Feb. 17, Friday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 20 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are and can be purchased through the Kreft Center Box Office.
