CONCORDIA THEATRE KICKS OFF SEASON WITH
THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
ANN ARBOR, Mich./Oct. 12, 2006 – Concordia University-Ann Arbor Theatre will kick off its 2006-2007 season with The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson, running October 26-29 in the Kreft Center Black Box Theatre.
Based on the popular children's book, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever tells the story of the hooligan family of Herdman children who take over the Sunday school Christmas pageant. Everyone predicts disaster. The Herdmans are horrible. They do awful things like lie and steal and smoke cigars. They are the worst thing that ever happened to their school and they are bound to ruin the pageant, or are they? This Christmas pageant, just like the Herdman gang, is full of surprises.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is directed by Laura C. Bird and runs Thursday, Oct. 26, Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are and for children 12 and under and can be purchased through the Kreft Center Box Office.
