PEOPLE DANCING TO PERFORM SPRING INTO ACTION: ONE NIGHT ONLY
ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 1, 2007- The fresh and eclectic dance company, People Dancing will perform at Concordia University—Ann Arbor’s Kreft Center Black Box Theater on Friday, March 16 at 8p.m. “Spring into Action: One Night Only,” features various dances including the quirky new addition “A Lovely Dance for Six,” performed by Amanda Stanger-Read and Christina Sears Etter, “Suite for Guitar and Dancers,” choreographed by Kerry Allan, and Whitley Setrakian Hill’s “The Math of Six,” featuring music by Iva Bittova.
The company will also showcase new work by guest artist Jessica Kimlat Fogel. People Dancing is a composition of modern dance artists whom perform new and repertory dance works, satisfying physicality and a unique twist. The company’s artists have been deemed as “uncompromisingly assertive” in their dancing by the press and possessing an “ethereal beauty” as well as being extremely musical.

People Dancing has been around for more than 20 years and is a non-profit professionals dance company.
