| John Lewis Joins Concordia as Director of Development |

January 30, 2004 – Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA) announced the appointment of John Lewis as Director of Development. Lewis reports to the Executive Vice President, and is responsible for the major giving, planned giving, and estate planning programs in support of the university’s capital and endowment funding initiatives.
A seasoned fundraising professional and CUAA alumni, Lewis formerly worked as the Director of Direct Response for the South Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. There he managed major giving, direct mail appeals, and capital campaigns for a variety of mission programs, the Concordia University System and Joint Seminary Ministries. Lewis began his career in sales management with Schwan’s Sales Enterprise.
