The Boar’s Head Festival is a musical and theatrical experience that has become woven into the fabric of Concordia University. Everyone who has taken the opportunity to become involved in this production has wonderful memories of their role in the performance of this Concordia tradition. Last spring, as the University began preparations for the 25th anniversary celebration of the Boar’s Head Festival, the idea to produce a compact disc recording of festival came to fruition. The music of the Boar’s Head Festival that throughout the years has deeply touched the hearts and minds of audience members regularly generates requests for an audio recording of the festival.
We are pleased to announce the release of an official recording of Concordia University’s Boar’s Head Festival music, "The Music of the 25th Anniversary Boar’s Head Festival". Concordia University hopes that this recording will allow you to continually experience the wonderful message of the Christmas story as told though song by the members of the Concordia University, Ann Arbor Department of Music.
The Music of the 25th Anniversary Boar’s Head CD is available for US in the Concordia University Box Office, located in the Kreft Center for the Arts on the campus of Concordia University, Ann Arbor. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, Noon until 4pm. The Box office will be closed for the holiday break beginning Dec. 23rd through January 3rd. Orders received during that time will be processed beginning Monday January 6th. Purchases can be made by phone with a credit card or send in a check to the Box Office with their request. Please add on .00 for S&H and make checks payable to Concordia University.
