The New Student Center, located on central campus, offers students many useful facilities including the café, mailroom, gameroom, the Cardinal's Nest, bookstore, and banquet facilities.
Located in the Student Union building, the Cardinal's Nest provides an area for students to relax, have fun, study, watch television and eat. Best of all, you can use your meal card to pay for it all. The Cardinal's Nest also hosts a number of special events called "Nest Nites". Hours of operation for the Cardinal's Nest will be posted at the beginning of each semester.
The mailroom is located in the Student Union. All students, on-campus residents and commuters, will be issued a mailbox key during registration. The mailroom is open for students to mail packages, receive packages and purchase stamps. Hours are posted at the beginning of each semester. Note: There is no mail service on Saturdays or Sundays.
A new Concordia University Bookstore opened for business on July 1, 2008 and is located in the Student Union. CUAA partnered with Concordia Publishing House (CPH) out of St. Louis, Missiouri to open the new facility. CPH designed the store with an open floor plan that allows students to walk through the aisles and find their textbooks, course packs, new university apparel, college supplies and snacks.
