TOOL TIME 2011–2012: UNSHAKEN

Unshaken 2011
The mission of New Crew is to form loving, Christ-like relationships with junior and senior high students that deepen their relationship with God.

New Crew is a student-led, student-run organization on the campus of Concordia University Ann Arbor that seeks to glorify God in the building of loving relationships with students from both Senior and Junior High. New Crew is most widely known for holding "Tool Time", a youth retreat you don't want to miss! There is a Junior High Tool Time in the Fall and a Senior High Tool Time in the Spring. New Crew members also travel to and host lock-ins at various churches within a three-hour radius of Concordia Ann Arbor.

Tool Time Retreats
Tool Time is a wonderful youth retreat aimed at students of both genders and open to all denominations. Tool Time is always  spirit-filled and Christ-centered. It is a time for learning and a time for healing. It is a time of encouragement and passion and understanding. Those who enter Tool Time don't come out the same!

The retreat consists of main sessions with student speakers, live worship music, hilarious skits, and silly games. After these sessions, the Tool Timers head to their beloved small groups where deep brother-and-sister-in-Christ relationships are formed. Throughout the weekend, there are several bonding games as well as a Servant Event to reach out in the love of Christ to those in need.

Tool Time is refreshing and reviving time to reunite with God and his family for encouragement through the gospel. You don't want to miss this youth retreat!

This year the theme will be UNSHAKEN, based off of Hebrews 12:18-29… "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” All of our games, speakers, music, and small group times will focus on how we can stand firm and be filled with joy because we will receive a beautifully solid kingdom created by a powerful God.
