The Perkins Loan is a need-based Federal loan. It has a fixed interest rate of 5% and an annual limit of $4,000.

A limited amount of Perkins Loan funds are available each year and are awarded based on financial need (FAFSA information). Concordia is the lender and if eligible, the amount will appear on your Financial Aid Award Letter.

If a Perkins Loan is listed on your Award Letter and you wish to receive it, see instructions below.

PERKINS LOAN REQUEST PROCESS
|
|
ALL Perkins Loan borrowers, new and previous, are required to complete this process each year.
You will go to the SignMyLoan website (see link below), to complete the process to secure your loan funds for the school year. The loan cannot be credited to your Student Account until this has been completed.
NOTE: You will not be able to access this website until your loan has been reported to it, so PLEASE WAIT until you receive an email from SignMyLoan before proceeding with this process. There will be a link in the email. Please note below what you will need for the process.

3 Personal References – with complete addresses and phone numbers (must be different addresses)
