To apply for a Stafford Loan, you must request a specific total dollar amount
The Award Letter you received from Concordia Financial Aid indicates your maximum dollar eligibility for Stafford funds for the school year.
Your award may be subsidized, unsubsidized, or a combination of both depending on your grade level and financial need. (more info)
You may request any amount up to the maximum you have been awarded.
About Subsidized/Unsubsidized amounts
- If you have been awarded both sub and unsub and do not wish to receive the unsub funds, request only the sub amount
- If you wish to receive both sub and unsub funds, add the total and enter one total dollar amount, of sub and unsub, for your loan request
Declining Your Stafford Loan
If you wish to decline all or a portion of, your Stafford Loan, contact the Financial Aid Office.
