The latest in our series of exhibits drawn from private collections, Living With ArtIII takes the viewer on a tour of the Leege’s intriguing collection and along the way raises questions about how we “live with” art rather than viewing it only in the formal space of museums and galleries.

This acclaimed young organist is garnering attention all over the world. In its recent full-page feature on Carpenter, The New York Times wrote: “He has pushed the boundaries of organ technique to breathtaking heights, meshing virtuosity with musical intelligence.” Kommersant, the leading daily newspaper in Russia, called him “the Vladimir Horowitz of the organ.” From Germany, the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes: “He clearly has set out to usher in a new age of organ playing, like Paganini once did for the violin and Liszt for the piano.” www.cameroncarpenter.com

Author, novelist, and professional storyteller Christine Petrell Kallevig has been captivating audiences since 1991 with the special storytelling technique she calls STORIGAMI. Kallevig folds giant-sized paper as she tells stories. Each fold illustrates an action or character from the story, so by the time the story is over, a surprise origami figure is magically created in a seamless blending of these dynamic folk arts.
