A degree you can count on

Why is mathematics so appealing? Because it’s true. You can solve the same equation for X over and over again, and the answer will remain consistent. If you find satisfaction in discovering the right answer; if you enjoy the challenge of a complicated problem; if numbers are your favorite language, you belong in the Mathematics Department.

Program Overview

Numbers make us really excited, because they’re one clear demonstration of the miraculous order that exists in God’s creation. Your day will be filled with discovering that mystery through calculus, linear algebra/differential equations, geometry, abstract algebra, discrete mathematics, statistics, and real analysis. By the time you complete the program, you will have a very broad overview of all things math, as well as a liberal arts foundation (due to our core curriculum).

What to Expect

The goal of this program is to prepare you for a wide range of roles within the mathematics field. One unique aspect of our program is that we take the time to explore the relationship between the Christian worldview and a technological society. At the end of your time with us, you’ll be asked to complete a research project dealing with a mathematical topic that interests you.
