Concordia University Ann Arbor has announced its Student of the Month for April.
CUAA Senior Hunter Churchill was nominated by her professor as a deserving student who exemplifies excellence in mind, body, and spirit.
“Hunter possesses an inherent initiative, excelling both in the classroom and across the CUAA community,” shares her professor. “She comes to class each day with thoughtful, prepared reactions to the course content; often, even if she has an answer, she works to draw out responses from other students to enrich the classroom experience.”
Churchill is an exercise science and biology double major and was recently accepted into the Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy program at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan where she will be attending upon graduation.
In her fourth season as a member of the Cardinal softball program, Churchill is also actively involved in the Pre-Healthcare Professionals Club and the Student Athlete Leadership Team.
Churchill’s professor also said that she leads by example in her character and kindness across campus, investing herself into campus projects.
“Hunter’s effort in all of her endeavors has always been deliberate and thoughtful, demonstrating servant leadership and a genuine Christian spirit.”
