Who We Are

The Concordia University Chamber Orchestra, founded in 2014, is an auditioned Community Ensemble under the direction of Professor William Perrine. The group is open to all Concordia students with advanced experience in playing violin, viola, cello, or string bass. The ensemble is also open to members of the Ann Arbor community with advanced playing experience.

What We Perform

The String Ensemble repertoire consists of chamber music and string orchestra music from the Baroque period to Contemporary music. The String Ensemble often plays for chapel services, performing both traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.

When We Meet

The String Ensemble (MUS 190) meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and can be taken for either credit or audit.
