Professional Development Opportunities

Concordia University strives to not only help shape and form the educational experience of our students, but also serve as a resource to current educators hoping to continue their own professional development. We want to help you passionately and skillfully make an uncommon impact on the lives of the students you see each day. That’s why we offer a variety of opportunities for you to pursue professional development. Whether you’re seeking continuing education credits or an opportunity to gather with other educators and learn about exciting new developments and techniques in the field, we have something just for you.

Here at Concordia, we offer the following professional development opportunities for educators:

School of Education Excellence Development Speakers (SEEDS)

Each academic year, our School of Education provides professional development for teacher candidates and others in the community who are interested in compelling educational topics. Although SEEDS does not result in professional development credits for the state, it does offer a unique opportunity for engagement and discussion around meaningful topics.
