Who We Are

The Concordia University String Ensemble, founded in 2014, is an auditioned group under the direction of Professor William Perrine. The group is open to all Concordia students with prior experience in playing violin, viola, cello, or string bass.

What We Perform

The String Ensemble repertoire consists of chamber music and string orchestra music from the Baroque period to Contemporary music. The String Ensemble often plays for chapel services, performing both traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.

When We Meet

The String Ensemble (MUS 190) meets from 2:10 to 3:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and can be taken for either credit or audit.
