In conjunction with the Medical College of Wisconsin, Concordia University of Wisconsin's School of Pharmacy and Office of Inter-professional Education (IPE) is co-sponsoring a two-day conference on the core competencies and integrative strategies that we, as a community of multidisciplinary providers, need to enhance to provide better care for our State’s diverse refugee and immigrant communities. This third conference will be held on Thursday, December 13 and Friday, December 14, 2018 at Concordia University Wisconsin's Mequon campus in the Todd Wehr Auditorium and the Pharmacy Building. This year's theme is “Arriving, Surviving, and Thriving: Journey from New to Neighbor”. By sharing our experiences about how we provide care to unique communities, we can enrich the quality of services provided to newcomers. Registration for the event is required at https://ocon.brownpapertickets.com. Questions can be directed to Amber Rios at arios@mcw.edu or Michael Oldani at michael.oldani@cuw.edu.
