Learn the practical steps for planning, promoting, and executing an event at Concordia University Ann Arbor.

All university-affiliated events—whether happening on campus or off, open to the public or just a sub-group—will follow the process outlined on www.cuaa.edu/addevent. This helps everyone stay up-to-date on what’s happening in the university, and it maximizes your effort by spreading the word to as many internal communication channels as are appropriate.

Concordia's Strategic Communications team invites CUAA faculty, staff, and students to learn how to:

  • Utilize university-supported systems to maximize your time and effort when promoting your event
  • Target the specific audiences that are appropriate for your event
  • Help everyone else in the university stay informed and "in the know"

For your convenience, we are offering this informational session at two different times:

  • Monday, Nov. 18—4:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 19—9:30-10:30 a.m.

This event is open to all CUAA employees and students, but it is especially relevant to those who are involved in organizing, planning, or promoting events on behalf of university groups.

Light snacks will be provided for anyone who RSVPs. Click on the registration button to the right to reserve your spot.

Once you register, a follow-up email will be sent with details on meeting space.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops so that they can follow along with the presentation at their leisure.

Contact Kali Thiel if you are unable to attend this event, but you are interested in learning more.
