City Year helps students and schools succeed. Diverse teams of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms, and the whole school, helping to ensure that students in systemically under-resourced schools receive a high-quality education that prepares them with the skills and mindsets to thrive and contribute to their community. City Year Milwaukee is going into its 11th year and seeks to hire 120 AmeriCorps Members to serve throughout 13 Milwaukee Public Schools.
This event is for students and alumni in all fields who are interested in exploring ways to impact a community in a positive way, while gaining skill sets that are applicable to any next step.

Julie Schneider is a Milwaukee based recruiter for City Year. After graduating from UW-La Crosse in 2012, Julie served for two years with City Year Milwaukee from 2013 - 2015. She has been a City Year recruiter for nearly four years and enjoys meeting and chatting with passionate young people!
Jose Torres is a Chicago based recruiter for City Year. After graduating from UW-Madison in 2014, Jose served with City Year Chicago from 2014 - 2015. He has been a City Year recruiter for close to five years and recruits from various universities across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.
