Who We Are
The Concordia University Jazz Ensemble is student-led activity that meets on Tuesday & Thursday mornings outside of marching band seasons. The group is open to wind players currently enrolled in wind ensemble. Students playing rhythm section instruments such as piano, guitar, bass guitar, or drums are not required to co-register for another ensemble.
What We Perform
The Jazz Ensemble is currently a small combo class, focusing on the development of jazz improvisation skills. Our repertoire consists of a variety of jazz standards.
When We Meet
The Jazz Ensemble meets in the Spring Semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m.
