When you get involved with an education-related club at Concordia, you open yourself up to all kinds of possibilities: connections with fellow Cardinals who share your same interests, opportunities to practice and apply what you’ve learned in the classroom, and the chance to serve others in ways that match the unique skillsets you’ve been given. Check out some of the educators-focused student organizations you can look forward to joining at CUAA, and visit our Clubs & Organizations page to see more offerings.

Concordia Child Life Association

The Concordia Child Life Association supports students within the Child Life minor program at Concordia University Ann Arbor. The primary purpose is to bring awareness to the role of the child life specialist in providing psychosocial, emotional, and developmental support for the child and family impacted by illness, injury, and the health care environment.

Early Childhood Education Society

The purpose of the Early Childhood Education Society is to be of service to the university and to expand students’ knowledge of the education field through community involvement, service, and networking. The ECE Society is affiliated with the NAEYC, and locally a student chapter of Washtenaw County Association for the Education of Young Children. These affiliations provide professional support through monthly workshops, annual conferences, and peer reviewed journals.
