International student application steps

1. Complete the free online application: cuaa.edu/apply

2. Submit the following documents:

(Please note that all documents submitted become the property of the University)

Undergraduate

  • Original transcripts and diplomas from all schools attended or currently attending, in English as well as the native language. If transcripts or diplomas are copies they must be certified by the school *Transcripts must be mailed to the university
  • Proof of English language proficiency with minimum scores of 61 TOEFL, 6 IELTS, 55 PTE, or 90 Duolingo
  • Copy of your passport and visa if applicable

Graduate

  • Original transcripts and diplomas from all schools attended or currently attending, in English as well as the native language. If transcripts or diplomas are copies they must be certified by the school. *Transcripts must be mailed to the university
  • Proof of English language proficiency with minimum scores of 79 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, 60 PTE, or 100 Duolingo
  • Copy of your passport and visa if applicable
  • Resume
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from previous teachers and/or employers
  • Statement of purpose that specifically explains what program you are applying to and why you want to attend CUAA (write a one page essay describing desire for a graduate degree)

Transfer (Transcript Evaluations)

If you are planning to transfer international coursework to Concordia University, please complete a transcript evaluation through a transcript evaluation company. SpanTran has created a custom application for Concordia University to ensure you obtain the correct evaluation at a discounted rate. You can access this custom application by clicking here.
