Below is a list of important items that need to be completed prior to beginning your time at CUAA. We will be happy to connect you to the right resources to make your transition to CUAA easy.
Once you pay your tuition deposit, your CUAA Portal account (my.cuaa.edu) is activated. Please check your email for further instructions on how to access the CUAA Portal.
You must activate your CUAA Portal account before you can register for housing. Students admitted in Fall can apply for housing beginning in April. Watch your cuaa.edu email for details on how to access the housing system. If you have registered for housing, you will be notified of your housing assignment by the end of June or early July.
On Campus Students
Resident students select a meal plan during the housing application process described above. The meal plans available are listed here. More information is included in the description within the housing application.
Off Campus Students
As a commuter, or off campus student, a plan may be purchased at any time. It may be worthwhile to purchase a meal plan for the days when you find yourself eating on campus. Information about available plans, including costs, is available here.
Beginning January 1st of the year you plan to enroll, incoming students for the Fall semester may apply for Federal and State Financial Aid. To be considered for need-based aid, you must be an admitted student and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When completing the FAFSA, be sure to list Concordia’s school code: 002247.

Concordia University Ann Arbor
Beginning on or around July 1. Your student account has a listing of all the charges associated with the classes for which you register for the semester. Your student bill can be found in the “My Statement” box under the Student tab of the CUAA Portal. Any/all financial aid, personal payments, and other credits are reflected on your statement for each semester.
Payments are due on or before the first day of class. Students must pay their bill in full by the start of classes or enroll in the Joyful Response Payment Plan. If paying your bill through credit card, payments can be made by calling the Business Office. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Safety Net is a system where you receive alerts for campus closings and emergency situations, you are able to sign up soon after registration. Go to my.cuaa.edu and log in to your account and register yourself in the 'Safety Net' tab in the Student Section.
