You, guests, Veterans, active duty, are invited to attend the 9th annual Veterans Day Celebration at Concordia University Ann Arbor. The Veterans Day Celebration began when faculty and staff came together to share the history of Veterans Day with CUAA students and the surrounding community to recognize those who had served our country. Now it has become so much more!

Honorary Veterans Stars

As a means of honoring those who have served, Concordia University Ann Arbor is offering the opportunity to make a tax deductible donation starting at $20 to sponsor an Honorary Veterans Star for veterans or military members currently serving our great nation.

Honorary Veterans Stars will be displayed on the Manor Lawn of the university.

To make an online gift, visit our gift page, on the “In Support of” dropdown, select “Veterans Day.”  If the gift is for an Honorary Veteran Star, add the name and rank of the honored veteran and any additional comments about his/her service.


Celebration Highlights

  • 9:00am: Welcome in the Gymnasium
  • 10:30 am: Chapel Service
  • 11:00 am: Black Box Lunch and Program (Special Speaking Presentations including Medal of Honor Awardee LTC Charles Kettles, US Army And Special Forces CSM-Mark Kincaid)
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Faculty Seminars (Ranging from Art to History to Health Care and more)
  • 3:00 pm: Packing Party to benefit deployed military
  • 7:30 pm: Matt Herskowitz, Guest Artist Music of Americana, Piano
