At Concordia University, our Marketing & Communications team serves as the storytellers and stewards of the Concordia brand. We shine a light on the voices of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni so the world can see the difference a Christ-centered education can make.

Our services

As the home of Concordia’s brand and storytelling, we partner across campus to help your message reach the right audience and in the most effective way. Below is a snapshot of what we do—and how you can connect with us.

Design

From brochures and posters to mailers and advertisements, we produce visual materials that leave a lasting impression on prospective students, alumni, and stakeholders.

If you have design project for us, please fill out the Marketing Request Form.

All requests will be reviewed by our project manager to determine priority, scope, and resources. Please plan ahead so we can deliver high-quality work. Below are our standard completion times (from intake to delivery):

  • Booklets – 8 weeks
  • Invitations – 6 weeks
  • Direct Mail Pieces – 6 weeks
  • Brochures – 5 weeks
  • Postcards – 4 weeks
  • Flyers/Posters – 2 weeks

While we do our best to accommodate all requests, last-minute projects may not be feasible. Please submit requests early to allow for proper planning. Be clear and specific about your goals, audience, and deadlines.

Media Relations

We craft news pitches, news releases, and media strategies to help our stories reach broader audiences. If you have a story for the news media, please contact Susan Suleski (Susan.Suleski@cuw.edu) or Scott Rudie (Scott.Rudie@cuw.edu). We can also assist with:

  • Interview prep
  • Coordination of visit logistics (parking, alerting Campus Safety, etc.)
  • High-resolution photography, logos, enrollment data/information, or other resources that might be of use to a reporter
  • Insight and context about other connecting points or amplification opportunities within the university
News

We love telling Concordia’s story! Depending on the story, our team can:

  • Write a news release
  • Pitch it to media
  • Share it on our university news sites (blog.cuaa.edu / blog.cuw.edu)
  • Post on official Concordia social channels

Social Media and Messaging

We can help you think strategically about how to use social media to reach your audience. Our team can work with you on messaging, content planning, and best practices. We can also help share your stories through Concordia’s official channels, giving your work added visibility and reach.
