Calling all Class of '73 members! Two day reunion event! Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5, 2023.

This two-day reunion event will provide ample opportunities for fellowship, reminiscing, and sharing. Alumni will also have the chance to tour the campus and see the changes that have taken place since they attended.

- SCHEDULE -

Friday, August 4

  • 11:30 am - Registration opens in the Manor
  • 12:00-1:00 pm - Box lunch in the Manor
  • 1:00-4:00 pm - Free time for socializing and snacks
  • 2:30-3:30 pm - Choir/band rehearsal in the Chapel
  • 5:00 pm - Service of Thanksgiving & Remembrance in the Chapel, followed by Class of ‘73 photos
  • 6:30 pm - 50th Reunion Recognition Dinner in the Manor Tent with Dr. Erik Ankerberg, CUWAA President and Rev. Dr. Ryan Peterson, VP of Administration
  • 8:00 pm - Free time for socializing
  • 9:45 pm - Evening devotion

Saturday, August 5

  • 9:00 am - Optional walk in the park led by Janet Stechholz**
  • 12:00-1:00 pm - Box lunch in the Manor
  • 1:00 pm - Tours of Concordia Ann Arbor Main Campus and North Building, led by Rev. Dr. Ryan Peterson
  • 3:00 pm - Afternoon refreshments in the Manor
  • 3:30 pm - Closing devotion and sing along with guitars, led by Rev. Dr. Mark (‘72) and Margy Whitsett
**A Walk in the Park - Optional walk led by Janet Stechholz
  • Saturday, 9:00 am
  • Meet in the Manor parking lot
  • Walk at your own pace on a wheelchair-accessible path that begins on campus and provides stunning views of Concordia from the other side of the Huron River.

What should I wear?

Dress for the weather. This is not a formal event and the Chapel of the Holy Trinity is not air conditioned.

What is the weather like in Ann Arbor in August?

High temperatures in August range from 75 to 90 degrees, with a minimal chance of rain.

Will the reunion locations be air conditioned?

The Manor is air conditioned. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is not air conditioned. The Manor Tent is not air conditioned.

Will there be accommodations for special dietary needs?

Yes. There is a space on the reunion RSVP/registration card and also on the online RSVP/registration to note specific dietary needs.

Will there be accommodations for special mobility needs?

Yes. There is a space on the reunion RSVP/registration card and also on the online RSVP/registration to note specific mobility needs. We have golf carts available to assist those with mobility needs.

Will nametags be provided?

Yes. Nametags will be created for each alumnus/alumna that include a Primatum photo and dorm information. Nametags will also be created for attending guests of alumni.

Will there be Holy Communion?

The service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving is not a communion service.

Are the dorms available for lodging?

No. Please book a room at the Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites (see LODGING) or make your own arrangements. We will be touring a dorm on Saturday!

Will there be a Bio-Book available?
