Please join us for Concordia Vespers, the beloved tradition at CUAA showcasing great musical works alongside the beautiful Vespers liturgy.

This edition of Concordia Vespers features an amazing juxtaposition of the “old” and “new.” Caroline Shaw, Pulitzer prize-winning composer, was commissioned in 2016 to write a response to Dietrich Buxtehude’s 17th-century work, “Ad Manus.” This new work, “To the Hands,” explores the themes of love for the other, and how we mirror Christ in our daily lives. Concordia Vespers will be presenting both works side-by-side, along with the liturgy and a meditation from Campus Pastor, Randy Duncan.

Don’t miss these incredibly moving works! Admission is free — free-will offering collected to support future editions of Concordia Vespers.
