A hands-on fall prevention event by the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and facilitated by CUAA PT students and faculty.
This event is hosted by the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and facilitated by physical therapy students and faculty at Concordia University Ann Arbor. The event is open to those with a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease or related movement disorders along with their care partners.
The event will include a free balance and mobility assessment, education to learn about reducing fall risks, demonstrations of safe ways to assist individuals with Parkinson's Disease and related movement disorders with mobility tasks, and receipt of an individualized fall prevention plan and resources.
