COVID-19 Questions or Concerns?

Don't let down your guard

February 12, 2021

Remember our journey together during COVID

Dear Concordia students, staff, and faculty

It’s the end of week three – already! Whether you feel these weeks are flying by or crawling along, my prayer for you continues to be one of peace, strength, and hope in Christ through every challenge and opportunity He places in front of us.

Communication is always important, and especially important during times like this. Here is a quick update for our CUAA campus.

COVID by the numbers – 02-12-21

  • 5 positive active cases (5 students + 0 employees) connected to our campus community (this number is updated each morning on our website).
  • NO students who have tested positive are in our residence halls.
  • 8 students are in quarantine.

Main message today: Now is NOT the time to let up or let down our guard. It’s easy to feel complacent, but it is critical that we continue to commit ourselves to our campus COVID conscious initiatives. Complete the Daily Symptom Tracker. Wear properly fitted masks. Stay 6 ft. apart. Wash your hands, and then wash them again. 😊

Remember: We walk this journey of life together. For encouragement, prayer, and counsel, please connect with our CAPS team (Counseling and Psychological Services), CUAA.Health (for students), the ARC (Academic Resource Center), Pastor Duncan (campus pastor), or a trusted friend, faculty or staff member.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. We are Concordia. Be safe and be well this weekend.

With gratitude for you,

Rev Dr Ryan Peterson
Vice President of Administration
