William Shakespeare's iconic play, Hamlet, will be presented Feb. 8-10 and Feb. 15-17 in the Kreft Center Black Box Theater.
Directed by Concordia University Ann Arbor's longtime theater director Gerald Dzuiblinski, the two-hour production will be a collaboration with The Experimental Performing Arts Association.
Advanced students actors from The Experimental Performing Arts Association, including Elizabeth Reames as Ophelia, will play the roles of many of the iconic play's characters. Timothy Pollack, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, will play the role of Hamlet, while local professional actress Amanda Bates will play Gertrude.
REGISTRATION
For public performances, tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and students.
For student matinees, tickets are $6 for students. Teachers and chaperones are admitted free.

A free, pre-production lecture titled, "Hamlet: A Psychological Analysis," will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 in The Manor House on campus. It will focus on the psychological underpinnings of Hamlet, as well as the often overlooked Ophelia.
