In partnership with NEWaukee and YPWeek, Concordia University presents Dr. Joey Lynn Bialkowski as she shares insights on living a life filled with purpose.

In our culture, one of the first things people ask when they meet one another is: "What do you do?" Our careers and our lives are inextricably linked. So then, how can you live and work in alignment with your beliefs? How can you balance your passions with the very real need for a paycheck to survive? This session will help start you on your path to find your purpose and set goals to achieve.

-ABOUT THE SPEAKER-

Dr. Joey Lynn Bialkowski is Executive Director of the Office of Career Engagement and Industry Relations at Concordia University Ann Arbor as well as Co-founder and Chief Learning Officer of fieldXperience, an educational platform that combines mobile-based micro-learning with work experience opportunities.

Over the past 13 years, Dr. Bialkowski has developed, proposed and launched 6 undergraduate and graduate programs in Sport & Hospitality Business as well as Organizational Leadership and Administration at three accredited institutions of higher learning (NCAA and NAIA). Dr. Bialkowski’s passion for empowering and creating professional opportunities for students to develop, both in and out of the classroom, as tomorrow’s industry leaders is immense. Throughout her career, she has procured experiential learning opportunities and partnerships with numerous organizations including the Super Bowl, PrimeSport, ESPN Wisconsin Sports Awards, the NCAA Final Four, and many more. Through these partnerships combined with Dr. Bialkowski’s hands-on approach, students have been given the platform for professional development and live-event experience. Dr. Bialkowski holds a Bachelors in Sport Management from Brock University in Ontario Canada, a MBA in Sport Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo New York, and completed her doctoral degree in Leadership Administration from Concordia University Chicago in Chicago Illinois.
