Students, faculty, staff, and employers,

We are excited to host dozens of employers and hundreds of students to create networking opportunities that could lead to internships, jobs, or future connections. Please see the descriptions for students, employers, and faculty below for more information on your respective role with the Career Summit, or email the Director of Career Engagement at Alisha.greaves@cuaa.edu for more information.

STUDENTS:

This year's Career Summit will feature dozens of employers from across the state seeking to hire interns and graduate students from all majors. Registration is not necessary as the Summit is a required event for students of all years and majors; however, registration is highly encouraged to stay up-to-date with reminders and registered employers.

Student registration opens Monday, August 28th, 2023 at 8:00 am and closes Monday, March 18th, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Be sure to come to the Career Summit professionally prepared, by attending our Take 20 series. Stop by the Career Engagement Studio to meet with an Ambassador to polish up!

Check in for the event for credit by scanning the individual QR code at each employer’s booth.

• 10:30 am - 11:00 am - Welcome and Chapel Message @ Chapel of the Holy Trinity
• 11:00 am- 2:00 pm - Summit open to all students @Cardinal Fieldhouse
• 11:00 am - 12:30 pm - Fall athletes are required to attend
• 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm - Welcome and Chapel Message @ Chapel of the Holy Trinity
• 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm - Winter and Spring athletes are required to attend

EMPLOYERS:

Whether you're seeking a nursing graduate, a human resources intern, or any talent in between, you won't want to miss this opportunity to network and connect with CUAA students! As a university-required event, you are sure to engage with hundreds of students. Whether it be freshmen eager to grow their network or seniors seeking full-time employment, we will have all majors (freshmen-seniors) included at this event.

We welcome employers seeking interns or full-time employees working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Registration for this event is a nominal fee of $50 and includes admission for up to two recruiters, one round table, chairs, lunch, and a gift! Registration is now open and closes Friday, March 1st, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Registration will take place via Handshake and is confirmed upon final payment. Upon final payment, you will receive the welcome message outlining details including parking, directions, check-in, and suggested materials to bring.

FACULTY:

Please note this is a university-required event and classes will not meet on Monday, March 18th, 11 am-2 pm. Please include this in your syllabi with the verbiage provided at the all-academic gatherings.

Faculty have the option to offer extra credit for attending and or include a related assignment in relation to student’s attendance at the Career Summit. Please utilize the career summit student flyer with reflection questions attached as a guide for your assignment from the all-academic gatherings. If you need any of these documents please email Alisha.greaves@cuaa.edu. If you require proof of student’s attendance in lieu of class students can provide this information as they will receive a summary of the employers they met with by scanning the individual QR codes located at each employer’s booth.
