Mission statement

The Human Resources Department strives to be a strategic business partner with Concordia University. Our goal is to facilitate positive change and help build an environment of success that challenges and inspires people to their highest level of contribution. The Department actively seeks to:

  • Understand and anticipate the emerging Human Resource needs of the University and the people who work within it
  • Serve as an internal consultant to facilitate employment activities within all levels of the organization
  • Effectively integrate new technologies and methodologies into daily operations to provide timely and accurate information
  • Ensure the organization has the competence it needs to advance

The Human Resources Department promotes a positive climate and culture at Concordia, and provides an efficient workforce to assist the administration in focusing on Concordia's mission.
