Yes! Applications are still being accepted and processed on a regular basis. We expect very minimal delays due to remote processing coordination. Each application is still being reviewed in an expedited fashion.
Along with applications, I-20’s will continue to be processed on a regular basis. To expedite the process, ensure you have all submitted all of the required documentation (passport copy, official financial documents and affidavit of support (if needed), as well as the international student tuition deposit at: www.cuaa.edu/tuitiondeposit
We anticipate the closure of embassies and consulates to remain temporarily, but we do not anticipate these services to be completely unavailable prior to the fall 2020 start. You are encouraged to monitor the U.S. State Department's travel website, where you can check updated wait times, as well as openings and closures. Ensure that you have paid your I-901 fee as soon as you receive your I-20 so you are eligible to schedule your visa interview as soon as possible upon reopening. You can pay that fee here.
All accepted and deposited students who are unable to attend a visa interview in time to start in the fall will receive a deferred start date for spring 2021. Cases in which a deferral is required will receive a new I-20 with no additional charges.
